About the event

On June 18, during round 8, the Waverley Park Hawks will be hosting a Pink Sports Day at our home grounds in support of Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).    Please come on down to the games, even to watch other teams and support the cause. Our female players will be wearing pink socks for the games, we'll be selling special 'pink' treats and BCNA merchandise in our Canteen and having special raffles at After match, where funds from all ticket sales will be donated to the BCNA.

If you can't make it to our event - or would like to make a donation anyway, please click here to go to our Fundraising page.  We appreciate your generosity.

Thank you for getting involved and helping BCNA to inform, support, connect and represent all Australians affected by breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian women with one in seven diagnosed in their lifetime. Over 20,000 women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, as well as over 170 men.    All of your support will help these women, men and families know that they're not going through their journey alone.
