Returning Players
All returning players must register and pay using the PlayHQ platform.
New Players - New to Club football and/or Transferring from Auskick
Players who are new to the football club (including those who have previously been registered with an Auskick Centre) can also register via PlayHQ.
New Players - Transferring from Another Club
Registrations for new players to the club who are transferring from another club cannot be finalised until the transfer is approved.

Age Group Eligibility
Minimum Age Requirement
Children must have turned 7 years old by 30 April 2026 to be eligible to register and play with our club in the SMJFL. The club cannot relax this age requirement which is mandated by the AFL.
Note: children who do not meet the minimum age requirement for club football may register with our Auskick Centre. To participate in the AFL Auskick program children must turn at least 5 years of age in 2026.
2026 Registration Fees
Early Bird Registration is now open for the 2026 Season!
The Early Bird registration fee is $255, made up of $195 WPH club fee + $60 SMJFL affiliation fee. Your registration fee includes a FREE training t-shirt, yearbook and use of a playing jumper, to be returned at the end of the season.
In 2026, the WP Hawks are offering FREE* registration for all U8 to U9 male and U8 to U11 female players who are NEW to the club (*SMJFL affiliation fee of $60 still applies). Please contact Felicity Regan on registrar@wphawks.org.au to receive your unique discount code before registering via PlayHQ.
The club is also offering a 20% discount on club registration fees for all siblings of registered players. which reduces the fee per child to $216 ($156 club fee + $60 SMJFL fee). The discount will be automatically applied to subsequent player registrations made by the same account holder in Play HQ.
Active Kids Voucher Program
Eligible families can apply for $200 vouchers and use them at their registered Get Active Kids Voucher Activity Provider without having to worry about upfront costs. The Waverley Park Hawks Provider number is 3287638.
Voucher numbers can be added at the bottom of the checkout/payment page upon registration in PlayHQ.
We advise parents to apply as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
The vouchers can help pay for sporting equipment, uniforms and memberships in a range of activities from club cricket to dance. There’s also an opportunity to enrol toddlers in a range of activities including important learn to swim classes.
To be eligible, kids need to be aged 0 to 18 years, a Victorian resident, named on a valid Commonwealth Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card and named on a valid Medicare Card at the time of application.
A special consideration stream is also available to support children residing in Victorian Care Services, temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants and international students up to 18 years at the time of application.
Round 9 applications for a voucher or reimbursement opened on Wednesday 15 October 2025 and close at 10am on Thursday 13 November 2025. Voucher expiry date: Wednesday 31 December 2025.
Go to the 'Apply for Vouchers' page on the Get Active website to apply, or if you registered your child before applying for a voucher, go to the 'Get Reimbursed' page to apply for a reimbursement.
