Returning Players
All returning players must register and pay using the PlayHQ platform.
New Players - New to Club football and/or Transferring from Auskick
Players who are new to club football (including those who have previously been registered with an Auskick Centre) can also register via PlayHQ.
New Players - Transferring from Another Club
Registrations for new players to the club who are transferring from another club cannot be finalised until the transfer is approved.

Age Group Eligibility
A player's age group for the 2024 season is determined as follows:
Under 8 01/01/2016 - 30/04/2017
Under 9 01/01/2015 - 31/12/2015
Under 10 01/01/2014 - 31/12/2014
Under 11 01/01/2013 - 31/12/2013
Under 12 01/01/2012 - 31/12/2012
Under 13 01/01/2011 - 31/12/2011
Under 14 01/01/2010 - 31/12/2010
Under 15 01/01/2009 - 31/12/2009
Under 16 01/01/2008 - 31/12/2008

Minimum Age Requirement
Children must have turned 7 years old by 30 April 2024 to be eligible to register and play with our club in the SMJFL. The club cannot relax this age requirement which is mandated by the AFL.
(Note children who do not meet the minimum age requirement for club football may register with our Auskick Centre. To participate in the AFL Auskick program children must turn at least 5 years of age in 2024).
2024 Registration Fees
The fees for the 2024 season for both boys and girls will be as follows:
EARLY BIRD FEES UP UNTIL JANUARY 31ST 2024.
Players aged 7-10 $55 - FREE Waverley Park Hawks Registration Fee & $55 SMJFL Affiliation Fee
Players aged 11-18 $215 - $160 Waverley Park Hawks Registration Fee & $55 SMJFL Affiliation Fee
Parents with up to 3 subsequent children can register and receive a 35% discount, which brings the fee per child to $104 at early bird rates, plus the $55 SMJFL Affiliation Fee.

Players aged 11 - 18 $270 - $215 Waverley Park Hawks Registration Fee & $55 SMJFL Affiliation Fee
Parents with up to 3 subsequent children can register and receive a 35% discount, which brings the fee per child to $140 at standard rates, plus the $55 SMJFL Affiliation Fee.

Registration fees include a training top, plus a players jumper for each player.
The Victorian Government is once again running the 'Active Kids' voucher program to ensure all children have the opportunity to participate in sport.
Round 7 opens for applications for a voucher or reimbursement on Tuesday 10 October 2023 until allocations are exhausted. Vouchers expiry date: Tuesday 30 April 2024.
Eligible families can apply for $200 vouchers and use them at their registered Get Active Kids Voucher Activity Provider without having to worry about upfront costs. The Waverley Park Hawks Provider number is 3287638.
Voucher numbers can be added at the bottom of the checkout page upon registration. we advise parents to apply as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
The vouchers can help pay for sporting equipment, uniforms and memberships in a range of activities from club cricket to dance. There’s also an opportunity to enrol toddlers in a range of activities including important learn to swim classes.
To be eligible, kids need to be aged 0 to 18 years, a Victorian resident, named on a valid Commonwealth Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card and named on a valid Medicare Card at the time of application.
A special consideration stream is also available to support children residing in Victorian Care Services, temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants and international students up to 18 years at the time of application.
