The Club actively encourages family involvement and parents are urged to make themselves available for match day duties, such as goal umpiring and time keeping. Club officials and coaches are normally drawn from the parent group.

For each Waverley Park Hawks Team, the Club will make appointments to the following positions prior to the season:

• Coach

• Assistant Coach (optional)

• Team Manager 

• Trainer 

• Runner

In addition, the Club must provide the following Team Officials for each match:

​

• Umpire Escort

• Goal Umpire

• Time Keeper

• Boundary Umpire

• Water Carrier(s)

These positions are usually performed by parents on a roster basis drawn up by the Team Manager.
